The University of Montana, USA, will provide its students an opportunity to learn Hindi language from the next academic year. For this, Fulbright teachers from India will teach this subject.
From the year 2015-16 academic year
Fulbright teacher Gaurav Mishra will teach Hindi language to students as part of the university’s South and South East Asian Studies programme. Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Mishra will go to an American university in the month of August to teach elementary Hindi.

“This is a rare honor and a great achievement, as only four universities in the country have appointed Hindi teachers,” said Ruth Vanita, a professor at UM Liberal Studies. The university will also try to make Hindi language a regular academic subject. Hindi language is completely sound based language which means it is written exactly as it is spoken. Each letter has a sound.’
